Went to the Biltmore all enlivened for Christmas and it was shocking. We strove for a candlelight tour which was my top pick part. When you stroll in the entryway there was a choir singing ditties and truly places you in the occasion. There is such a great amount to see and it took us around 2 hours to look at everything. We did do a return visit the following day for a brief tour and that was much more information packed and informative. The only problem was individuals were listening to sound tours and not giving careful consideration to where they were standing and blocking moving lines. One thing to not is once you park your car you have to take a shuttle up to the front of the home. So you want to get there 30 to 45 min. early. When you plan your tour consider getting the behind the scenes package, I think it would be worth it.
